Hi, I'm Ayush 👋 I'm a CS undergrad at NIT Hamirpur and an Apache Committer. I spend most of my time building backend stuff and doing open source, mostly on Apache Fory.

Nowadays I love building weekend hobby projects. One of my favourite and most interesting ones is wisp, a security research project. It's the only project of mine that isn't open source, mostly because of the ruckus it could cause in the wrong hands. I'm still thinking about shipping it as a product once I put some guardrails in place. Around 25 people are on the waitlist right now.

The most interesting thing I've done in a while, and something I'd always wanted to do, was grabbing a random PC from the department lab and turning it into a Linux server when a few campus services urgently needed hosting. I still maintain those services and servers today. These days I'm exploring microservices and distributed systems infrastructure, and I'm really eager to learn more about agentic AI.
